Finally here is issue number 3 of Johnny Vega. the printer had a problem figuring out how to pull info off the a corrupted disk so another route was used to send the digital information of the book to them.
Personally, I felt as if they were trying to get me to do this so they wouldnt be stuck with a large volume of discs in their office. But that could just be me as well.
Seems like Washington State seems to be the place to be to sell art work whether it be comic books or scratchboard. As far as I am concerned, its all good.
The more work I can get out there the better and if things go well with the work I have in line for myself for this next year there should be a problem at all with that idea.
Another commission piece in the hands of a happy owner which is what I think every artist wants to hear.
But along with a show in Puyallup Washington this weekend I also sold another page from Pandoras Garage Volume 5. a totally unexpected one as well. The page is good in my opinion but not not one I would have bought for somebody else either but being the creator I know my tastes and it is definitely different than those around me.
The best part by far was the trip back into Portland as another comic company Darkslinger Comics both sold copies of our books to a couple of boy scouts at a rest stop.
Ah, corrupting youth with their mothers right there. Ya gotta love it!
